Old-world traditions are captured in the essence of Veranda Park by
Italian craftsmen who exhibit passion and experience in their work that
has been cultivated and inherited through the generations.

From genuine hand-carved gondolas to the mosaic designs and frescos
that adorn the buildings, these are just a few of the items you will see
at Veranda Park that have been created by masters from the Old World.
Sculptors provide their traditional style to fountains and hand-carved
statues found throughout Veranda Park, creating an authentic visual of
old-world Italy.

At Veranda Park you will experience
the spirit of true old-world Italian charm as you take a romantic moonlit
ride in one of Veranda Park’s hand-carved gondolas. Each guided by its own
gondolier.
Since the 18th Century, gondolas have
been crafted using ancient wood carving techniques and tools. The hulls
are roughed out of oak, using an axe. In addition to the oak hull, nine
other species of trees are also used to complete the Venetian boat,
including walnut, cherry and elm. The genuine Italian craftsmanship that
is slowly disappearing today, is kept alive in the architecture found
throughout Veranda Park.
